Privacy policy

Shimga is run by Shree Kanakaditya Gruh Udyog, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra ("we", "us"). This page explains what we collect when you use shimga.in, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and what you ordered.
• If you create an account: the same details, saved so you don't have to type them again.
• When you send an enquiry (gifting, bulk or a question): your name, contact details and your message.
• When you browse: basic, anonymous visit statistics from our hosting provider (pages viewed, rough location by country or city, device type). We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

We do not collect card or bank details. UPI payments happen in your own UPI app; cash on delivery is paid to the courier.

Why we use it

• To confirm, pack, deliver and support your order.
• To contact you about your order by email or phone.
• To keep records of orders and invoices, as the law requires.
• To answer your enquiries.

We send marketing messages only if you ask for them, and you can stop them at any time.

Who we share it with

Only what is needed to deliver your order:

• Courier and shipping partners (for example Shiprocket and the courier it assigns, or India Post) receive your name, phone and delivery address.
• Brevo sends our emails from hello@shimga.in.
• Cloudflare hosts the website and stores order and account data for us.

We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

• Order records are kept for at least 8 years, because tax and accounting rules require it.
• Account details are kept until you delete your account.
• Enquiries are kept for up to 2 years, then deleted.

Your choices

• Delete your account at any time from your account page. Your saved details are removed; past order records are kept as described above.
• See, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@shimga.in. We reply within 7 days.
• Withdraw consent for any optional use (such as marketing) by emailing us.
